Are you an Individual Artist/Creator/Practitioner of Traditional Arts or a member of a Collective/Ad Hoc Group of Artists/Creators/Practitioners of Traditional Arts looking for investment support to bring your artistic project to life?
The LAC supports Artists residing within London, Ontario and surrounding First Nations Communities (Chippewas of the Thames First Nation; Munsee Delaware Nation; and Oneida Nation of the Thames). LAC accepts applications for projects in literature, film, music, performance (dance, spoken word/storytelling, theatre), and visual art.

Project Streams support the following for both Individual Artists and Collectives/Ad Hoc Groups:
• Research: Research is a stand-alone request. It cannot be combined with Creation, and/or Presentation/Production requests.
• Creation
• Production/presentation(s)
• A series of presentations
• Festival(s)
Program Guidelines and Eligibility Criteria for Individual Artists and Collectives/Ad Hoc Groups vary slightly by Investment Stream. General requirements include:
Individual Artists, Creators, Practitioners of Traditional Arts, and/or Collectives/Ad Hoc Groups of Artists, Creators, Practitioners of Traditional Arts
• Individual Artists, Creators, Practitioners of Traditional Arts and Lead Artists, Creators, Practitioners of a Collective or Ad Hoc Group must be a London residents or residents of the surrounding First Nations Communities (Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, Munsee Delaware Nation, Oneida Nation of the Thames). Proof of residency is required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and conduct their practice primarily in London or their First Nation Community.
• Lead Individuals and members of Collectives/Ad Hoc Groups must be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents. If Permanent Residents, individuals must provide a copy of their Permanent Resident Card.
• Must demonstrate ability, innovation, and originality.
• Must indicate a range of revenue sources for the proposed project including earned, private sector and/or government revenue.
• Must provide a safe/supportive workplace/studio practice in which diversity, dignity, and perspectives of all individuals are valued/respected.
• Only non-profit activities are eligible.
• Budgets must balance to zero, no surplus and no deficit.
