About the Event
Coby Bowen, aka Uncle Cobes, is a first year Music Industry Arts Student at Fanshawe College, now residing in London, Ontario. He has been into music since he was a child, with a very athletic and music upbringing. Making music and performing gives him the confidence and drive to do what he loves to do. He chose the name Uncle Cobes, as he was like an Uncle Figure to the younger generations in his home town of Brantford. Making music the past five years, Coby has explored various diversity in genres of music, choosing HipHop with a blend of RnB as his preferred choice of recording.

His major genres are hip-hop and afrobeats and his music is influenced by the legendary fela kuti which he incorporates into his raps, and melodies.
