About the Event
Noelle Frances is a folk singer-songwriter, harmonizer, creative collaborator currently living in Deshkan Ziibi/ London ON. Noelle is part of a self managed, internationally touring band “The Pairs” and also performs as a solo act. Inspired by the storytelling that exists in the diverse genre of folk music Noelle writes in a way that is simple, honest and deeply emotional. Lyrically she taps into the angst and beauty of life. Each song has a soul and largely speaks to the courage and resiliency of human beings.
Armed with little more than a leaf-green guitar and a loose tongue, Laika Berdey is determined to get you singing along to her carefully calibrated blend of emo-rock, pop-punk and indie-folk. Whatever the genre, all of her tunes are infused with a sentimental sensibility and a touch of smart aleck-y humour that laughs at itself one minute and sneers at you the next. Laika has been performing in London her whole life in various guises: a chorister with Amabile, a jazz vibraphonist, a Royal-Conservatory trained pianist, a classical flautist. These days you’ll find her strumming and singing her way across Ontario as an Emerging Artist with the Canadian Musicians Cooperative and a roster member of the London Arts Council, or you can catch her from anywhere in one of her weekly online livestreams.
Tyrone Traher II, known professionally as Paris Monroe, is a Canadian singer-songwriter from London, Ontario. With a long history of creative endeavours, Traher began developing the concept of Paris Monroe in January of 2021. Traher discovered that the purpose of Paris Monroe is to create self-aware and relentlessly honest music that captures the entire spectrum of the human experience.
Mike brings songs from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s to life with his guitar and vocal styling. Favourites and classics from rock, pop, easy listening, and a bit of country will bring smiles to the faces of people of all ages. He has been a crowd pleaser for many years.
