Dan Ebbs is an actor, playwright, director, puppeteer, mime, clown, singer, and teacher. He is currently the founder and writer of Crazy Beautiful People, a Home County Music and Art Festival history project. With over 30 years of performance experience, his recent works include: 2016-2017’s In This Corner (playwright and actor), a one-man show about Tommy Douglas; 2016’s Better Than This (director), London One Act Festival; 2015’s Care (playwright, actor and puppeteer), a one-man show about care-giving for the London Fringe Festival; and 2013’s A Different Drummer (playwright and actor), a one-man show about Thoreau for the London Fringe Festival. Dan has received a number of awards, including the Brickenden Outstanding Original Script, London Fringe Most Daring Show, and the LOAFie People’s Choice.
Dan has also worked with a number of community groups, including facilitating a London Fringe show by Ugandan refugee youth at the Cross Cultural Learner Centre, and he is currently a London Artist in Residence and Creative Aging drama teacher.
