In both his songwriting and in his performing, the London, Ontario-based award-winning solo artist Ben Heffernan displays a maturity well beyond his 18 years of age. Over the past four years, Heffernan has worked hard to hone his performance skills, playing 200 shows around Canada, sharing the stage with artists such as Justin Nozuka and Donovan Woods, and spending countless hours songwriting.
Heffernan has already started 2019 strongly. He toured Ontario and Quebec in February, showcased at Folk Alliance International, played JUNOfest in March, toured Ireland, where he played the legendary Ruby Sessions in Dublin (past acts include Ed Sheeran, Hozier, Mumford and Sons, George Ezra) and recently wrapped up a tour in British Columbia. The future appears to be bright for Ben Heffernan, as he looks to cement himself as an exciting emerging artist in the Canadian music scene.
