| Banting House National Historic Site of Canada is seeking submissions from local artists to design, construct and install a Globe - the remaining element of the Global Garden and a major focal point of Sir Frederick G. Banting Square.Representing Banting's gift of insulin to the world, the Globe will serve as a symbol of the ongoing research conducted around the world in the search for a cure for diabetes - a disease that has reached epidemic proportions. Budget is set at $30,000 and artists are asked to submit their proposals by Friday February 26th, 2010 at 4pm. For more details please see below: |
